TERMS & CONDITIONS

• Tickets are subject to availability and are only valid for the event, date and location specified at the time of purchase.

• A valid ticket is required for entry. Tickets may be checked or scanned upon arrival.

• Tickets must not be duplicated, altered or used for unauthorised commercial purposes.

• TBBB reserves the right to refuse entry or remove a person from an event where reasonably necessary, including for safety, security, behavioural or venue-related reasons.

• Attendees must comply with reasonable directions from TBBB staff, security and venue personnel.

• Tickets may only be transferred or resold in accordance with any instructions provided by TBBB.

• TBBB is not responsible for tickets purchased through unauthorised third parties.

• We recommend purchasing tickets only through the official TBBB website or authorised ticketing platform.

• Tickets are generally non-refundable.

• Where permitted, refunds may be available if a ticket is successfully resold through the official TBBB website or authorised ticketing platform. A $30 administration fee may apply.

• Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

• TBBB reserves the right to make reasonable changes to event details, including the venue, program, speakers, performers, competitions, timings and other event elements.

• If an event is cancelled or postponed, ticket holders will be notified of the available options where applicable.

• Where an event is cancelled, postponed or substantially changed, refunds or ticket exchanges may be offered in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the event.

• TBBB is not responsible for costs incurred by attendees in connection with travel, accommodation, parking or other expenses associated with attending an event, except where required by law.

• Competition participation is subject to separate registration requirements, competition rules and eligibility criteria.

• Competition places are subject to availability.

• TBBB reserves the right to amend competition categories, rules, schedules or formats where reasonably necessary.

• Competition participants must follow all instructions provided by TBBB staff, judges and venue personnel.

TBBB is committed to providing a safe, inclusive and enjoyable environment for everyone. Attendees must not:

• engage in threatening, abusive, discriminatory, violent or inappropriate behaviour;

• harass or intimidate other attendees, staff, competitors, speakers or exhibitors;

• interfere with competitions, performances, presentations or event activities;

• damage venue property or event equipment; or

• behave in a way that creates a safety risk or disrupts the event. TBBB reserves the right to remove anyone who breaches these requirements without refund.

• Alcohol may be available at selected events and is subject to applicable liquor laws and venue requirements.

• Valid identification may be required.

• Responsible Service of Alcohol practices apply.

• TBBB, venue staff and authorised bar staff may refuse service or remove attendees who are intoxicated, disorderly or behaving inappropriately.

• Outside alcohol may not be brought into the event unless expressly permitted by the venue.

Photography, video and audio recording may take place during TBBB events. By attending a TBBB event, you acknowledge that you may appear in photographs, video or other recordings captured at the event. TBBB may use event content for promotional, marketing, social media, website and other reasonable business purposes, subject to applicable laws. If you have concerns about appearing in event content, please contact the TBBB team.

Attendees are responsible for their own personal belongings while attending a TBBB event. TBBB is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal property except where required by law.

Each event is subject to the conditions and requirements of the venue in which it is held. Attendees must comply with all applicable venue rules, including requirements relating to entry, security, alcohol, prohibited items, accessibility and emergency procedures.

Attendees must follow all reasonable health and safety instructions provided by TBBB, venue staff, security or emergency personnel. If an attendee becomes unwell or requires assistance during an event, they should notify a member of the TBBB or venue team.

All TBBB branding, logos, artwork, website content, graphics, photographs, videos and other materials are owned by or licensed to TBBB unless otherwise stated. You must not reproduce, modify, distribute or commercially use TBBB intellectual property without prior written permission.

To the extent permitted by law, TBBB is not responsible for any loss, damage, injury or expense arising from attendance at an event, except where caused by our negligence or otherwise required by law. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.

Personal information collected through ticket purchases, registrations and event participation will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. The Terms & Conditions applying to your ticket purchase will be those in effect at the time of purchase, unless otherwise required by law. If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in Australia.
